Affiliate disclosure

Tokyo Side Trips is free to read and is funded by affiliate links. When you book a tour, pass, eSIM or hotel through one of these links, the company pays me a small commission. You pay the same price as you would booking directly.

How links are marked

• Every article that contains affiliate links shows a disclosure line at the top of the page.
• Affiliate links are tagged for search engines with rel="sponsored".
• Links to official operator pages (for example a railway's own pass page) are not affiliate links.

What it does not change

• I only link to tickets and tours that fit the route described on the page.
• I do not say I used something unless I did.
• If a pass is not worth it from where you are starting, the article says so, even when a pass would earn a commission and a Suica card earns nothing.
